Nestled in the historic Yuanming Park, The Sail is more than a teahouse — it is a tribute to the park’s spirit, seamlessly blending new architecture with the imperial grandeur of China. The building’s exterior draws inspiration from the hexagonal sails of Qing Dynasty ships, known as “junks”. The building spans three floors, the first two are indoors, while the top floor is outdoors, offering visitors diverse perspectives of the scenic gardens and lake of Yuanming Park. This architectural project intends to create a harmonious integration of tradition and modernity, inviting guests to experience the timeless beauty of Yuanming Park.
