a little about me...
So, what is this website for? Another passion project? A way to impress job recruiters? Honestly, I’m not sure. But I do know that I wanted this space to be more than just a collection of my resume, cover letters, and degrees. I wanted it to be real. In other words, a place where I can share my work, my thoughts, and the things that don’t always fit neatly into a portfolio. I make mistakes. I experiment. I try things just to see where they go. And that’s why I call this site anexperimentalspace — because everything is worth exploring.
My work sits at the intersection of urban planning, design, and human experience, not just capturing architecture, but the life, movement, and emotions embedded in space. Whether through hand-drawn sketches, spatial analysis, or planning strategies, I’m constantly trying to understand how places shape and are shaped by people. As a runner, I experience cities at eye level, immersing myself in public spaces and noticing the small details that influence pedestrian mobility, infrastructure, and urban life. It’s this curiosity. This constant engagement with the built environment sparked my passion for what I do.
At the core, I’m curious about how cities function beyond their physical structures. I want to create work that blends technical precision with artistic storytelling, using design as a tool to enhance equity, resilience, and livability. This space is where I document that process, the questions, the ideas, the growth and the experiments along the way.
I hope this space inspires you to experiment, gain exposure, and take risk... because that’s what I’m working on, too. It’s easier said than done, but I’m learning to embrace it. Maybe this can be a growth diary for me, and hopefully, for whoever’s reading this.
